Overview
The New School is a renowned university located around Greenwich Village in New York City, United States. It was founded in 1919 as the New School for Social Research. It was also known as New School University between 1997 and 2005. The New School enrolls more than 9,000 graduate and undergraduate students. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
