Overview

The University of Texas at Dallas, also referred to as UT Dallas or UTD, is a public, coeducational, research university located in Richardson (a suburb of Dallas), Texas, United States. It was established on June 13, 1969. The University, along with its associated schools and colleges, stretches over approximately 455 acres of suburban land.

The University of Texas at Dallas comprises the following schools and colleges:

Notable alumni of the University include David Hanson, robotics and AI researcher, he created the world's first expressive walking humanoid robot; and Yury Shulman, Chess Grandmaster.
