Overview

The University of Texas at San Antonio is a co-educational, public university. It is currently the second largest university in the state of Texas. It was established in 1969. The university currently has eight colleges under it:

The University of Texas at San Antonio’s campus stretches across 725 acres of land.

The university’s sports teams are known as the Roadrunners. Rowdy the Roadrunner is the official mascot of UTSA. The various sports programs sponsored by UTSA include basketball, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track & field, baseball and tennis. UTSA also sponsors women’s teams in soccer, softball and volleyball.
