The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, also referred to as UTHSCSA, is a nationally recognized health science education and research institute located in San Antonio, Texas, United States. It was established in 1959 under the name of South Texas Medical School. The six campuses of the institution collectively span across nearly 250 acres of urban land.
