Overview

Thomas College was established in 1894 as a nonsectarian, co-educational institution dedicated to career oriented training. The college specializes in education, business, and technology and offers programs leading to undergraduate and graduate degrees in areas like accounting, business administration, elementary education, criminal justice, psychology, information technology, and sports management.

Thomas College participates in the NCAA Division III and is also a member of the North Atlantic Conference. The college's athletics teams are nicknamed the Terriers, and compete in over 10 intercollegiate sports, including baseball, men's and women's basketball, softball, golf, men's and women's lacrosse, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, and tennis.

The college offers a unique Guaranteed Job Placement Program to its arts and sciences graduates. It also has a comprehensive financial assistance program in place, and apart from participating in state and federal government programs, the college also provides grants and scholarships from its own resources.
