Overview

Tohono O’odham Community College, TOCC, was officially chartered in 1998, and began offering classes in 2000. The Tohono O’odham Career Center merged with TOCC is 2001. This 2-year college is located in Sells, Arizona.

Tohono O’odham Community College offers a number of Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Arts degrees, as well as certificate programs. Courses are offered in computer information systems, early childhood education, social services, business administration, and general studies, among others. Students can also pursue apprenticeships and transfer degree programs.

Tohono O’odham Community College publishes a newsletter called “S-ke:g Ha'icu A:gidag—Good News”. The students are also involved in the Student Senate which organizes events such as the O'odham Ceremonies, The Tohono O'odham Rodeo & Fair, Cultural Instruction, and Children's Day.
