Overview
Tri-County Community College was established in 1964. It is a two-year public college located in Murphy, North Carolina. Other branch campuses are located in Murphy, Robbinsville and Andrews. Associate’s degrees are awarded by TCCC in the arts, science, applied science and general education. Several courses are offered through distance education programs, collaborative programs and continuing education programs.
TCCC is home to a number of student-run clubs and organizations, including Alpha Beta Gamma, the National Technical Honor Society, the Student Government Association, Phi Theta Kappa and the TCCC Alumni Association, among others. TCCC also has a student run newspaper, known as the Tri-County Communicator. The institution provides Academic Counseling, Career Counseling and Personal Counseling facilities to the students.
