Tri-State University is a private university located in Angola, Indiana. The university was renamed ‘Trine University’ in 2008 in order to represent itself as a premier private institution. The university was founded in 1884, and today its campus covers more than 400 acres. It offers over 30 programs on the undergraduate, graduate and professional levels in subjects like engineering, mathematics, science, computer science and communication. It is organized into several academic schools:

The Cycling Club, Delta Chi and Drama Club are some of the onsite clubs operated by the students.
