Overview
Trinity College is located in Hartford, Connecticut, United States. It was founded in 1823 as Washington College. It adopted its present name in 1845. Rt. Rev. Thomas Brownell was the first president of Trinity. It moved to its current location in 1872. The college campus covers approximately 100 acres in Hartford. The first campus building was completed in 1878. Trinity is listed on the top 30 liberal arts colleges in the US News and World Report. The college offers an array of degrees and certificate programs and is organized into various academic divisions.
Trinity College is home to several Greek organizations such as Sigma Nu, Alpha Chi Rho, Sigma Psi, Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Delta Phi, Psi Upsilon, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and Pi Kappa Alpha. All the Greek organizations of Trinity are coeducational and are administered by the Inter Greek Council.
