Overview
Truckee Meadows Community College is a community college located in Nevada, United States. The college was known as Western Nevada Community College from 1971 to 1979. The college offers a university-transfer program and an array of occupational and applied technical programs. The college's Workforce Development & Continuing Education department offers short, non-credit courses in diverse subject areas.
The student body of Truckee Meadows Community College has an impressive number of international students. There is an on-campus international club that assists foreign students with admission into the college. Some of the student clubs and organizations are the American Institute of Architect Students (AIAS), Philippine United Students' Organization (PUS0), Entrepreneurship Club, and Latinos Unidos Latino Association (LUNA).
