Overview

Truett McConnell College is a private, four-year, co-educational college governed by the Georgia Baptist Convention. Established in 1946, the college is named in honor of George W. Truett and Fernando C. McConnell, two cousins who ran a private Christian academy in Georgia. The college offers associate’s and bachelor’s degrees to its students. Students at TMC can choose from various areas of study like English, History, Christian studies and Music, among others.

Truett McConnell College provides its students with a chance to participate in various intramural sports, including basketball, golf, cross country and soccer, among others. The institute has a number of clubs and organizations as well, including the Student Government Constitution, the TMC Chorale and the Student Government Association, among others.
