Overview

The Turtle Mountain Community College, also abbreviated as TMCC, is a traditional tribal college. It was set up by the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Tribe in the year 1972. Located in the historical wooded, hilly, and lake filled area known as Turtle Mountain in North Dakota.

TMCC offers programs leading to associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in diverse areas of study such as art, communication, humanities, music, and teacher education. TMCC offers courses on technical areas such as computer support specialist, power plant process, and building construction technology.

TMCC offers the students with a comprehensive student services facility which includes library, bookstore, and community resources. It also offers vocational rehabilitation programs and several other activities for the students.
