Overview

Tyler Junior College, also referred to as TJC, is a coeducational, public community college located in Tyler, Texas, United States. It was established as part of the Tyler public school system in 1926. In 1945, it was given independent status and renamed as Tyler Junior College. The College today stretches over more than 70 acres of urban land.

The men's and women's sports teams of TJC are called Apache Men and Apache Ladies respectively. The official mascot of the College is the Apaches.
