Overview

Union College–Schenectady is located in Schenectady, New York, United States. It was established in 1795. The college is referred to as the "Mother of Fraternities." It was chartered by the Regents of the State of New York.

The college offers approximately 1,000 courses in sciences, engineering humanities, and social sciences. Major fields of study can be centered in any of its 20 academic departments.

Union College–Schenectady has an active student life and hosts several clubs and organizations. Some of its academic and honorary societies are the Chemistry Club, Classics Club, German Club, and The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

The college has nine fraternities and three sororities on campus. Some of the fraternities and sororities are Alpha Delta Phi, Alpha Epsilon Pi, Delta Delta Delta, and Gamma Phi Beta.
