The United States Merchant Marine Academy was established in 1942. It is a federal military academy situated in Kings Point, New York. The campus is spread across an area of more than 85 acres.

The United States Merchant Marine Academy offers academic programs related to Marine Engineering, Humanities, Marine Transportation, Mathematics and Science, Naval Science and Physical Education and Athletics.
