United Theological Seminary

The United Theological Seminary, located in Dayton, Ohio, is one of the 13 official seminaries of the United Methodist Church. Rev. Milton Wright established the seminary in 1869. It confers master’s and doctoral degrees in programs such as divinity, liturgical ministries and theological studies, among others. The institute also offers distance courses and hybrid classes, a combination of online courses and traditional face-to-face instruction.

The United Theological Seminary is home to a number of on-campus student organizations, including the Contagious Athanasius Theological Society and the Order of St. Luke, among others. The school offers several financial support services to its students, along with providing employment opportunities to its qualified students.
