Overview

The University of Advancing Technology, commonly referred to as UAT, was established in 1983 as the CAD Institute. It was renamed the University of Advancing Computer Technology in 1996, and it finally became the University of Advancing Technology in 2002. It is now located in Tempe, Arizona, and it offers enrollment to more than 1,000 students.

The University of Advancing Technology offers a number of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in the fields of digital media, game art, design animation, computer science, game programming, networking, robotics and technology management, among others.

The Anime Club, LAN Committee, Movie Misfits, NurF WarZ, Paintball, Puff, Quarter Circle Forward, The Academic Paranormal Society, Trading Card Game Club and War Games are some of the clubs and organizations offered to the students at UAT. The university also offers many scholarships, include the Thinking Scholarship, the UAT-Online Scholarships, the Mission-Driven Scholarships, the Financial Need Scholarships, Private Scholarships and the Karrlin Field Memorial Scholarship.
