Overview
University of Akron Wayne College is located in Orville, Ohio, United States. It was founded in 1972. The campus is situated on an area of more than 150 acres. The name of the college officially changed to Wayne College in 1990. Wayne College is the regional branch of the University of Akron and offers various programs including associate and baccalaureate degrees and certificate programs, among others. The institution also offers opportunities for studying abroad, and it participates in international programs. It also enrolls students from outside the United States.
University of Akron Wayne College is home to several clubs and organizations for the overall development of the students. Some of these are the Student Ambassador Organization, Phi Theta Kappa, Wayne College Campus Crusade for Christ, and Activities and Programming Board.
