Overview

The University of Chicago, also known as the U of C, U Chicago, or simply Chicago, is a coeducational, private university located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. It was founded in 1891 by John D. Rockefeller, world famous billionaire oil-tycoon. The University's campus stretches over an area of more than 200 acres of urban land.
