Overview
University of Connecticut Tri Campus, also referred to as UConn, is located in Waterbury, Connecticut, United States. It was founded in the year 1881 and was initially known as the Storrs Agricultural School. It gained university status in 1939. The university's Waterbury campus offers students degrees and certificate programs in many fields of study including business and technology, psychology, urban development and family studies, American studies, and urban and community studies.
