Overview
The University of Dubuque was founded in 1852 by the Rev. Adrian Van Vliet. The university is also known as UD. It is a private Presbyterian university and is located in Dubuque, Iowa. Both undergraduate as well as graduate degree programs are offered here in the field of liberal arts and sciences. The student body of UD is formed of national as well as international students coming from over 25 states in the U.S and over 15 countries around the world. The University of Dubuque is organized into the following schools:
