Overview

The University of Hartford is a private, independent and nonsectarian coeducational university located in West Hartford, Connecticut. It was established in 1877. The university enrolls students from over 40 American states and more than 50 countries. UHA offers more than 80 undergraduate majors and over 30 graduate programs in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following schools and colleges:

UHA’s main campus is spread across an area of more than 300 acres. It operates a public radio station, known as the WWUH (91.3 MHz FM). The university also has an active Greek life, with several fraternities and sororities. UHA also hosts several student clubs and organizations.
