Overview
The University of Hawaii-West O'ahu is a public, coeducational university located in Pearl City, Hawaii. This branch of the University of Hawaii was opened in January of 1976. It offers a number of baccalaureate degrees in professional studies and liberal arts. The academic curriculum is designed to help students develop their communication skills and explore cross-cultural and international studies. Apart from its main campus, the university also offers baccalaureate degrees through distance learning programs.
The college is comprised of the following academic divisions:

The college’s campus is home to a number of student clubs, including the Accounting Club, the Business Club, the Education Club, the Economics Club, the Hawaiian-Pacific Club, the Political Science Club, the Psychology Association, and the Sociology Club.
