Overview

The University of Houston–Clear Lake is an upper-level university located in Houston, Texas. It was founded in 1971. The main campus is spread across an area of more than 500 acres. It is a part of the University of Houston System. UHCL enrolls more than 7,600 students per year, offering bachelors, masters and doctoral level degrees in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following academic units:
