Overview

The University of Illinois at Chicago, or UIC, was chartered in 1867. The university traces its origins to a number of private health colleges like the Chicago College of Pharmacy, the Columbian College of Dentistry, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons which were founded in the late nineteenth century. The main campus of UIC encompasses over 300 acres in Chicago.

Athletics
