University of Mary, often abbreviated as U-Mary or U of M, is a private, Catholic university located in Bismarck, North Dakota, United States. It was founded in 1955 as a two-year school by the Sisters of St. Benedict of Annunciation Monastery. The school was established as Mary College in 1959 and was renamed the University of Mary in 1986. The university now grants admission to more than 2,000 students every year.

The official sports teams of the University of Mary are called the Marauders. The official mascot is the Marauder. The teams participate in intercollegiate tennis, wrestling, football, track & field, soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball.

AthleticsSchool sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference for major sports. The school offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 33 male students received the aid (men were 50% of those receiving aid) and 33 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 50% of students receiving such aid) .
