University Of Maryland-University College

The University of Maryland University College, also referred to as UMUC, is located in the community of Adelphi in Prince George's County, Maryland. The university was initially established in 1947 as the College of Special and Continuation Studies. In 1959, the college was given its current name and in 1988 it finally became a part of the University System of Maryland.

The School of Undergraduate Studies offers courses in business management, computer and information technology, communications, criminal justice/ legal studies and social sciences. The Graduate School of Management & Technology offers over 15 masters degree programs, over 30 graduate certificates and a doctor of management.
