Overview
The University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester is one of five campuses of the University of Massachusetts. UMMS was established in 1962, and was ranked fourth in primary care education among 125 medical schools by the U.S. News & World Report annual guide in 2006. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. UMMS is organized into the following academic divisions:
