University of Miami, also referred to as Miami of Florida or UM or The U, is a private, nonsectarian university located in Coral Gables, Florida, United States. It was founded in 1925.

Notable alumni of UM include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, actor and former WWE wrestler; Enrique Iglesias, singer, songwrite, and Grammy Award winner; both artists of the musician duo "No Mercy"; and Rick Barry, former power forward for the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets. He is also a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
