Overview

University of Minnesota Crookston, also known as UMC, is located in Crookston, Minnesota, United States. It was established in the year 1905. It is part of the University of Minnesota system and is the smallest campus. It spreads over an area of more than 230 acres. The university has other campuses located in Duluth, Rochester, Twin Cities, and Morris. The university's five degree-granting academic departments are agriculture; arts, humanities, and social sciences; business; math, science and technology; and natural resources.

UMC has numerous student clubs and organizations including the Campus Crusade for Christ, International and Multicultural Club, Delta Theta Sigma, Animal Science Association, Alpha Eta Rho, and Students in Free Enterprise.
