Overview

The University of Nebraska at Omaha is a coeducational, public university located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. In 1908, it was established as Omaha University. In 1931, it became Municipal University of Omaha. In 1968, it received its present moniker following a merger into the University of Nebraska system. The University, with its associated buildings, stretches across more than 150 acres of urban land.

The University has the following colleges and institutions:
