Overview

The University of New Orleans is a public, urban university located in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was founded in 1958. UNO is a unit of the LSU System. The university enrolls more than 11,000 students annually. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
