Overview

The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, also known as USAO, was established as the Oklahoma Industrial Institute and College for Girls in the year 1908. It changed to its current name in 1974. The USAO is a public college of liberal arts, and is located in Chickasha, Oklahoma. The University offers major degrees in the fields of arts, science, and fine arts. Online courses are also available.

The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma has an active student life and maintains several clubs and organization for the overall development of the students. A few of these are American Sign Language Club, Zombie Survivalist Club, Drama Club, Inter-Tribal Heritage Club, and Art Club among others. USAO also hosts Honor Societies such as Alpha Lambda Delta, Beta Beta Beta, and Kappa Delta Pi.
