Overview

University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie, also referred to as USC Salkehatchie, is one of the regional campuses of the University of South Carolina. It was established in 1965. The main campus is situated on 220 acres in Allendale, South Carolina. USC Salkehatchie also operates a branch in Walterboro, South Carolina.

USC Salkehatchie grants associate's degrees in arts, and science, and bachelor's degrees in nursing, elementary education, and liberal studies. Students can also pursue graduate degree programs through USC Salkehatchie's Extended Campus program. Transfer degree programs are also available.

Students of USC Salkehatchie are members of the Student Government Association. The sports teams, which are known as the Indians, participate in basketball, soccer, baseball, and softball. USC Salkehatchie's athletics department is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association Region X.
