Overview

The University of South Carolina Sumter was established in 1966. It is a public university located in Sumter, South Carolina. The campus of the university is spread across an area of 50 acres. USC awards associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in the arts, science and business, among others. Courses are also offered through distance education programs. USC is organized into the following academic divisions:
