Overview
University of South Carolina Upstate, formerly known as University of South Carolina Spartanburg, was founded in 1967, and is a public college situated in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The university was given its present name in summer of 2004.
The college campus consists of nearly 328 acres. USC Upstate has a present enrollment of approximately 5,000 students and is divided into the following academic schools and colleges:
