Overview

The University of Southern Indiana, also known as USI, is a public university located in Evansville, Indiana, United States. It was established in 1965. This publicly-funded institution is the fastest growing comprehensive state university in Indiana. The campus is spread across an area of 300 acres. The university enrolls more than 10,000 students. USI offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. The university is organized into the following academic divisions:

USI’s student body consists of an impressive number of international students. The University reported that students came from 90 Indiana counties, 36 other U.S states, and 42 other countries for the 2006-2007 academic year.
