Overview

The University of Tulsa, TU, was founded in 1894 and is a private university in Tulsa, Oklahoma. TU enrolls more than 4,000 students annually and the campus covers 230 acres. The university was initially established as the Presbyterian School for Indian Girls in 1882. It became the University of Tulsa in 1920. TU offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in diverse areas of study. It is a network of the following schools and colleges:

Recently, TU has been listed as one of the best colleges by the Princeton Review and was given 83rd position, among the nation’s top doctoral degree granting universities, by US News and World Report. It has several Greek chapters including Kappa Sigma, Pi Kappa Alpha, and Kappa Alpha Theta.
