Overview

The University of West Georgia, or UWG, is a comprehensive, residential State University located in Carrollton, Georgia, United States. It was established in 1906. UWG enrolls more than 11,000 students every year. The campus of UWG is spread across an area of 645 acres. The university has been named by Princeton review as one of the Best Southeastern Colleges, and one of America's Best Value Colleges. UWG offers more than 110 programs of study through the following academic divisions:
