Overview

Valdosta Technical College, also called Valdosta Tech or VTC, is located in Valdosta, Georgia, United States. It began offering classes in the year 1963 and was known as Valdosta Area Vocational Technical School. It was christened Valdosta Technical College in 2000. The campus occupies an area of more than 120 acres. VTC is a member of the Technical College System of Georgia. Degrees, diplomas, and certificate programs are offered to students in the areas of applied science, business education, practical nursing, electronics, and technology, among others. Online courses are also offered to outstation students.

Students of Valdosta Technical College are involved in many on-campus clubs and organizations. These include the Delta Epsilon Chi, National Vocational Honor Society, Phi Beta Lambda, Student Government Association, and Society of Radiologic Technology.
