The original campus of Virginia College at Roanoke, Virginia, a private post secondary college was established in 1983 and was purchased by Education Futures Inc. in 1989. It is a private post secondary college. The Virginia College also abbreviated as VC, has a campus at Austin, Texas which specializes in providing education and training demanded by a competitive job market. Virginia College has campuses at Birmingham, Huntsville and Mobile, Alabama; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Jackson and Biloxi, Mississippi; Pensacola, Florida and Greenville, South Carolina.

Virginia College, Austin campus provides associate’s, bachelor’s, masters and diploma courses in a wide range of areas such as paralegal studies, accounting, medical assistant, diagnostic medical sonography, cyber security, and surgical technology. Virginia College is minority and Hispanic serving institute and has a co-educational student body which is diverse.
