The Atlantis Group established Virginia College in 1983. In 2001, the Medical Career Center at Mobile became a part of Virginia College. Virginia College at Mobile offers diploma and associate’s degree programs in surgical technology, interior design, nursing, paralegal studies, computer aided drafting & designing and medical billing & coding.

Virginia College in Mobile’s Career Services associates offer to help students improve their interviewing skills and prepare a professional resume. Career placement assistance is also available to successful graduates. Financial aid is available in the form of loans, scholarships and grants.
