Overview

Wabash College, located in Crawfordsville, Indiana, was established in 1832 as the Wabash Teachers Seminary and Manual Labor College. It is a private, liberal arts college for men, and it is among the only three mainstream men's liberal arts college existing in the U.S.

Wabash College offers degrees through the following divisions:

Forbes magazine ranked Wabash College 12th among America's Best Colleges. The magazine also listed the college as the 10th best liberal arts college in the U.S. The U.S. News & World Report ranked the school 54th among national liberal arts colleges in 2009.

Wabash College is a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference and the NCAA's Division III. Its athletic teams are nicknamed the Little Giants. It won the NCAC football championship every year from 2005 to 2008. Happy meal inventor Bob Charles, the inventor of gas mask used in World War I James Bert Garner, and novelist Lawrence Sanders are a few of the college's famous alumni.
