Overview
Wagner College is located on Staten Island, New York, United States. It was established in 1883 in Rochester, New York. It was named Rochester Lutheran Proseminary because Lutheran ministers were trained there. It became Wagner Memorial Lutheran College in 1886.
The campus spreads across an area of more than 100 acres and comprises of 23 buildings. The college offers many undergraduate degrees in arts and sciences and some pre-professional courses of study to students. Wagner is home to the Center for International Business Strategic Studies and the Hugh L. Carey Center for Government Reform.
Wagner College has more than 60 different clubs and organizations including student government, sororities and fraternities, honors societies, and intramurals. The college has a diverse student body that represents thirty-nine different states and thirteen countries.
