Overview

Walsh University is a Roman Catholic university located in North Canton, Ohio, United States. It was established in 1958 as a liberal arts college by the Brothers of Christian Instruction. It was granted university status in the year 1981. The campus spreads across 140 acres of land and comprises of more than 15 buildings.

Walsh University enrolls more than 2,000 students every year. It offers master, bachelor, and associate degrees in the academic fields of computer science, counseling and human development, science in nursing, and business administration, among others.

Walsh University's students participate in various social activities. The Office of Student Affairs coordinates the Co-Curricular Transcript Program. Among the university' student clubs and organizations are the American Advertising Federation, Black Student Union, Cavalier Crazies, Drama Club, Institute of Management Accountants, International Club, Science Club, Ski Club, and Students for Life. Students publish a university newspaper called “The Spectator.”
