Wartburg Theological Seminary

Wartburg Theological Seminary, established in 1854, is a private Lutheran seminary, located in Dubuque, Iowa. Students are awarded the Master of Arts, Master of Sacred Theology, and Master of Divinity degrees. The academic programs are in the fields of youth, culture and mission, theology, development, and evangelism, as well as diaconal ministry. Wartburg Theological Seminary offers special programs through the following divisions:

  • The Center for Theology & Land
  • The Center for Youth Ministries

Students of Wartburg Theological Seminary publish a traditional newsletter called the “Life Together”. They are also involved in various clubs and organizations like the Global Concerns Committee, the Youth Activities Committee, the Social Activities Committee, and the Fellowship of Wartburg Spouses.
