Overview

Washington College, also known as WC, was established in 1782. It is a private liberal arts college located in Chestertown, Maryland. The Campus of the college is spread across an area of more than 110 acres. The student body of WC consists of national as well as international students representing over 30 states in the U.S and 35 countries around the world. Washington College provides various major degrees and academic programs in more than 40 streams of studies. It also offers opportunities to study abroad.

Washington College hosts over 90 student clubs and organizations, which include American Chemical Society, Anthropology Club, Arabic and Middle Eastern Club, Art History club, and Black Student Union. The institution also maintains an active Greek life and houses fraternities and sororities like Kappa Alpha Order, Kappa Sigma, Alpha Chi Omega, and Zeta Tau Alpha.
