Washtenaw Community College

Washtenaw Community College, or WCC, is a community college located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States. It was established in 1965. WCC has comprehensive training partnerships with local and national businesses and organizations. It also has transfer agreements with the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, and UM–Dearborn.

WCC is known for its student-built high end custom cars and is the only college/trade school in the U.S. that teaches high-end car customizing. The college is home to the Custom Cars & Concepts program (CCC), founded in 2002. It has built many show cars, hot rods, race cars, and custom cars for the big three for shows like SEMA and the Detroit Autorama.

WCC’s enrolls more than 18,000 credit students and over 7,000 non-credit students annually. The student body has an impressive number of international students. It enrolls more than 1,000 people from over 100 different countries.
