Overview
Waukesha County Technical College is a community college located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. It was established in 1977 as a non-profit organization, and is one of the 16 schools under the Wisconsin Technical College System. WCTC offers enrollment to more than 30,000 students and operates two campuses in Waukesha and Pewaukee.
Waukesha County Technical College offers numerous academic programs in the fields of business, IT, education, human and health services, electronics and engineering, printing, graphics, protective services, cosmetology, interior design and skilled trade, among others. Distance learning courses are also offered for the benefit of outstation candidates.
WCTC’s sports teams are known as the Waukesha Owls. There are separate men’s and women’s teams that participate in various sports. WCTC sponsors men's teams in baseball, basketball and golf, while there are women's teams in basketball, softball, golf and volleyball.
