Waycross College is a community college operated under the University System of Georgia. It is located in Ware County, Georgia. The college's campus occupies 150 acres of land.
Waycross College began offering classes in 1976. It was initially named Waycross Junior College, and adopted its present name in 1987. The college offers programs leading to associate degrees and certificates in arts and sciences.
Waycross College houses several clubs and organizations, including the drama club, the Intramural program, the outdoor adventure club, and even an international honor society, Phi Theta Kappa. The college's financial aid office is designed to help students obtain scholarships, grants, loans and part-time employment.
